Islamic Mode Privacy Policy

Islamic Mode is provided by RamiSJ12 (“we”, “us”, or “our”). This policy explains what information the Islamic Mode mobile application collects, how it is used, and the choices available to you.

Information we process

Location. If you grant location permission, the app uses your approximate or precise location to calculate prayer times, determine the Qibla direction, and find nearby mosques or halal places. Location is used for these features and is not sold by us.

Device and app information. The app may process basic technical information required for notifications, audio playback, device brightness, phone-call interruption handling, and reliable operation. This can include device settings, app state, operating-system version, and crash or diagnostic information supplied by Android or service providers.

Notifications and alarms. If you grant notification and exact-alarm permissions, the app schedules prayer reminders and displays notifications. Permission can be revoked in Android settings.

Saved app data. Preferences, prayer settings, notification choices, audio settings, and other app configuration may be stored locally on your device. We do not receive this locally stored data unless you choose to share it.

Third-party services. The app uses Google Maps/Places and geocoding services when you use location, mosque, halal-place, or address features. Those services may process requests and information according to their own privacy policies. The app also uses Android and React Native libraries for notifications, media playback, and app functionality.

How information is used

We use information to provide prayer calculations, Qibla and location features, reminders, audio playback, map and place searches, app security, troubleshooting, and improvements. We do not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising.

Sharing

We do not sell or rent personal information. Information may be sent to the third-party services described above only when needed for a feature you use, or when required by law, legal process, or to protect users and the service.

Retention and deletion

Local settings remain on your device until you clear the app data or uninstall the app. Location and search requests are used to provide the requested feature. You may stop collection by revoking permissions, disabling the relevant feature, clearing app data, or uninstalling the app. For deletion questions, contact us using the address below.

Security

We use reasonable safeguards appropriate to the information and features involved. No electronic transmission or storage method is completely secure.

Children

Islamic Mode is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the app, services, or legal requirements change. The updated policy will be published on this page with a new “Last updated” date.
